Fundamentals of Stained Glass - 4 sessions - The Copper Foil Technique

Looking to start your journey into the world of Art Glass? This is THE class to get you started.

During this weekly 4-week class, Gord, our Winemaker and Stained Glass Artist in residence will teach you all the skills required to properly use the tools and materials needed to make your very own stained glass window hanging, all while learning about the amazing history and background of the craft.

You will have the opportunity to try all the tools needed to work in glass before you buy, ensuring you purchase the right tools for you.

This class is geared to beginners, no prior experience necessary.

Students will select their project patterns from a curated selection in the first class.

***Please read carefully***

– The class cost shown includes: expert instruction, the use of our studio tools and some of the supplies needed to make one window hanging.

– The class cost does not include the sheet glass required to make your window hanging. The approximate glass cost for one window hanging will be $50-$100 depending on the glass you select.

Each participant must complete an online waiver before arriving for your class. This waiver can be found and filled out here.

Workshops cancelled with notice 14 or more days before the workshop can receive a refund minus 25%. We unfortunately cannot refund with notice 13 days or less before the workshop date.  Please check your calendars before booking.

Inclement Weather Policy

If weather conditions make travel unsafe, we will notify participants by email as soon as possible. Workshops will be rescheduled to a later date whenever possible.
