Urban Tractor Farm Winery...

Is a boutique craft winery in the Vinemount Ridge appellation in the Niagara wine region.

Gord and Paula Maretzki purchased their vintage farm in 2009 moving from the big city for a simpler life. An amazing location to raise their family. The “simple” life entailed the hard work of restoring and rejuvenating the neglected acreages back to vibrant ecologically balanced farmland. The systematic work of rebuilding the soil through restorative farming practices has resulted in an excellent site to plant cool-climate grape varietals.

In 2018, the first blocks of vines were planted, a block of Seyval Blanc and a block of Baco Noir.

In 2020 a small tonnage of Seyval Blanc was harvested. It was then that they started their winery with grapes from the first estate-grown vintage.

In addition to the estate-grown blocks, the Maretzki’s partner with small, local growers and focus on varietals that do well in our climate. They continue their journey exploring additional varietals and wine styles with each new vintage and invite you alongside.
